Vacatia is seeking a reliable, energetic Cook to join our kitchen team in Scottsdale. You will help deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, and contributing to a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling, with pay rate $18.50-$19/hr and opportunities to assist with events, dietary accommodations, and ongoing kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of kitchen or cooking experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate: $18.50-$19/hr

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, cook, and plate meals according to recipes and presentation standards

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and holidays
• Current food handler’s permit (or ability to obtain)

Physical & Work Environment

• Active kitchen setting with exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperatures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent use of kitchen equipment including ovens, knives, mixers, and slicers
