Our line cooks are vital members of our kitchen staff. They are responsible for preparing food according to the chef's, establishment's, and customer's specifications. We encourage our line cooks to grow and advance to positions with greater responsibility. The following are the expected duties of a line cook:

1. Station Setup
2. Food Preparation
3. Cooking
4. Station Stocking
5. Cleanup

Line Cook positions are typically offered as full-time or part-time roles in a restaurant setting. Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, grill cook, fry cook, chef, or other BOH restaurant roles is highly desirable.

Requirements / Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months of experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, and wait staff.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Capability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• Ability to follow printed recipes and plate specifications.
