Job summary

Wwshemi is hiring a line cook for on-site, Monday through Friday shifts in San Francisco, CA. You will prepare fresh lunch bowls, own your station, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time while meeting food safety standards.

Responsibilities include batch-cooking, assembling orders, labeling, organizing inventory, and maintaining temperature logs in a fast-paced kitchen. Equity or stock options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of line cook or similar kitchen prep experience.
• Experience cooking proteins, grains, vegetables, and sauces to recipe specs.
• Experience producing food in volume for service or delivery.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and temperature logs.
• Experience receiving deliveries and rotating stock.

About the Role

Prepare fresh lunch bowls for office delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will own your station and help ensure each order is accurate, on time, and prepared to food safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Prep and batch-cook proteins, grains, vegetables, and sauces according to recipes.
• Assemble and pack food orders to specification and on schedule.
• Label and organize orders by delivery destination.
• Keep your station clean and complete food safety and temperature logs.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and organize inventory.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of line cook or similar kitchen preparation experience.
• Experience cooking proteins, grains, vegetables, and sauces to recipe specifications in a production or catering kitchen.
• Experience preparing food in volume and assembling orders accurately for service or delivery.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen food safety practices, temperature logs, and station cleanliness.
• Experience receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on early morning and daytime shifts.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Compensation & Benefits

$23 to $27 per hour, equivalent to $47,840 to $56,160 annually. Equity or stock options are available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. Monday to Friday shifts.
