Role of a Line Cook:

Our Line Cooks play a vital role by receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, and properly setting up the kitchen so every team member has the products and tools easily accessible during their shift. They enjoy working in the Back of House.

What to Expect:

• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the kitchen/station daily
• Requisitioning and stocking all required food, paper products, and condiments
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
• Responsible for setup, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment
• Maintain stock, and handle cutting and storage of perishables daily to ensure quality
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
• Ensure the quality of products served
• Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to adhere to health standards
• Other duties as assigned
