Job summary

Famous Dave's is seeking entry-level line cooks for our back-of-house team in Michigan. We provide paid training, and you will learn through a comprehensive, hands-on program with our team of trainers.

Our cooks are culinary artists who follow recipes, maintain plate presentation standards, and work across fry, salad, grill, and prep stations. A fun, hardworking team environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Support line cooks by preparing ingredients and assembling menu items.
• Follow recipes, plate food to standards, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

JOB SUMMARY:Our cooks are culinary artists! We pride ourselves on our scratch-made kitchen and provide hands on training to our Pitmasters. Our cooks are responsible for following recipes when preparing food and adhering to plate presentation and cooking standards. Our Line Cooks have several opportunities for duties including Fry Station, Salad Station, Grill Station, Prep and more. Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.
