Job summary

Ezell's Famous Chicken in Portland is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items both to order and in rotation. You will help maintain quality and speed of service while working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring proper food handling, stocking the kitchen, and supporting coworkers to deliver a great guest experience. Must be at least 18 years old and available to work collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow recipes.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Willing to work as part of a team in a busy atmosphere.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product without deviation from the recipe.
• Collaborate with other Team Members to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain food quality.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate items per FIFO procedure.
• Restocks kitchen during and after shifts.
• Practices “clean as you go” throughout your shift.
