Job Summary

Covet.PDX is looking for a dedicated and skilled PM Line Cook to join our evening kitchen team. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth dinner service by preparing and executing high-quality dishes with consistency and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes according to Covet.PDX’s recipes and presentation standards.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and speed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with ingredient prep, station setup, and restocking during service.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, following proper storage and labeling procedures.
  • Support closing duties, including cleaning and breakdown of the kitchen.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment with professionalism and respect.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
