Delta Hotel Philadelphia Airport is seeking a line cook to join our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will cook using a wide range of techniques and ensure each order aligns with standard recipes to satisfy guests.

Mansioni

• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
• Grill, broil or saute menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications

We require an experienced cook who is familiar with a wide range of cooking techniques, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking.

You must ensure that every order is cooked properly according to our standard recipes and that it fully satisfies our guests' demands and requests. Our ideal candidate has outstanding time management skills as well as a team-first mindset to effectively assist other kitchen personnel and keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
