Position Summary

As a cook in our Forbes-rated 5-Star hotel, you will be an integral member of a world-class culinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will work in a prestigious, fast-paced kitchen alongside seasoned chefs, preparing and executing elevated dishes that reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellence, precision, and luxury. Job includes performing a wide range of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu specifications as designed by Executive Chef. Produces Me en Place for all outlets the kitchen placed in services. Preparing food to the specifications that the customer/ Executive Chef has requested. You will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for the guests.

Essential Functions
  • Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner
  • Consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment
  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures
  • Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products, ensuring freshness and proper stock levels.
  • Adapt to changing menus, special events, and bespoke guest requests while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Support and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines
  • Execute plated dishes with attention to detail, consistency, portion control, and aesthetic appeal expected in a luxury environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, pride in food quality, and a commitment to consistency.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team members, including Sous Chefs and Senior Cooks, to ensure smooth, seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and cook high‑quality menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and service timelines.
  • Maintain precise mise en place, ensuring your station is fully stocked, organized, and clean before service

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

Six months - One year in Foods Industry in comparable job

Professional appearance

Food handler’s permit or sanitation certificate

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
