Title: Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member)

Objective: To prepare great tasting and visually appealing food, maintain high standards for product presentation and quality, and work across all kitchen roles through cross-training.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare menu items according to recipes and specifications (50%).
  2. Complete assigned prep work (15%).
  3. Set up workstation as per station diagram (15%).
  4. Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
  5. Clean and sanitize work areas before, during, and after shifts (5%).
  6. Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks (5%).
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to handle plates, utensils, and pans on high and low shelves.
  • Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use knives and food prep equipment safely.
  • Mobility throughout the shift.
  • Transport cases up to 50 pounds, up to 20 times per day.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations to ensure safety.
Physical Requirements:

Must navigate the restaurant, communicate with guests, move items weighing up to five pounds regularly, lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally, and bend/stoo. Adequate vision is required to assess cleanliness and operate touchscreen devices. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
