Job summary

Hawksmoor in New York is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for your station, ensuring top-notch food quality and consistency during busy services.

You will maintain service efficiency, uphold health and safety standards, and follow Hawksmoor recipes exactly while coordinating with Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Comfortable and experienced with high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
• Professionalism and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for your section in the kitchen, ensuring food quality and consistency.
• Maintain efficiency of services/kitchen and adherence to health & safety standards.
• Ensure product and service standards meet Hawksmoor’s requirements; maintain kitchen equipment.
• Set an example to staff when working on a section; liaise with Sous Chefs and follow company recipes exactly.

Hawksmoor is located in an incredible restaurant space in New York: a beautiful National Historic Landmark built as The United Charities Building in 1893 with an incredible 10 meter ceilinged assembly hall that forms the main room of the restaurant. The location is just off Park Avenue South and north of the prestigious Gramercy Park and Union Square. The restaurant has a 170 seats with a 50-cover bar and opened in the summer of 2021.

Key responsibilities of the role include
