Job summary

Corner Table Restaurants in New York, NY is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items, set up stations, and collaborate with the kitchen to ensure high-quality, timely plates. Experience in fast-casual environments and a passion for hospitality are essential.

The role emphasizes following standardized recipes, maintaining station readiness, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team focused on guest satisfaction.

• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
• Prepare food to Parla’s specifications
• Responsible for food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Set up a station for service by chopping, butchering, preparing, and/or stocking station
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report, and follow CDC’s or Sous Chef’s instructions
• Clean up station during and at the end of service
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
