Job description

At True Food Kitchen, we pride ourselves on serving great food! Our line cooks are essential in preparing and cooking our recipes to the highest quality. Many menu items are seasonal, providing variety throughout the year.

We look for people who:
  • Have experience in stations like Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Saute, Grill. Experience in multiple stations is a plus.
  • Are willing to grow and learn through our development programs.
  • Have at least 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Are flexible and available to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Exhibit excellent knife skills.
  • Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can read and execute recipes.
  • Have a passion for making quality food and understand the importance of presentation.
What you will be doing:
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using different kitchen techniques.
  • Maintaining standards for portion sizes, quality, and safety.
  • Stocking and maintaining food levels at stations.
  • Portioning food according to recipes.
  • Keeping workstations clean and sanitary.
  • Presenting dishes attractively.
  • Properly storing and rotating products.
  • Assisting in food prep during off-peak hours.
  • Opening and closing the kitchen following checklists.
  • Adhering to hygiene and food safety rules.
  • Communicating proactively to resolve operational issues.
  • Ensuring flexible shift coverage for smooth restaurant operation.
