Job summary

Treviso Bay, located in Naples, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join Troon Golf’s hospitality team. You will support the Chef and Kitchen Manager in food preparation, sanitation, and service across outlets, with emphasis on quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of cooking experience, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred; compensation is $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must operate convection and conventional ovens, fryer, broiler, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read English food orders.
• Specialty/Technical training preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to supervisor’s specifications and recipes.
• Maintains quality standards of food and beverage service by preparing and presenting menu items according to company standards and supervisor’s direction.
• Ensures clean and orderly workspace by adhering to public health codes, sanitation and safety policies.
• Verifies product stock and rotates as necessary, informing supervisor of items that need to be ordered.
• Completes opening duties at the beginning of each day.
• Completes closing duties at the end of each day by organizing, cleaning and sanitizing workspace.
• Maintains effective communication with co-workers.
• May assist in training other cooks.
• Implements and supports all initiatives and programs as requested by management.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly, based on experience.

Overview:

Ideal candidates are highly dependable, team-oriented, and able to take direction with at least 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast‑paced environment. The Line Cook will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all culinary outlets on the property, including but not limited to kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, preparation, and delivery. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma required, 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate the following equipment is required: convection and conventional oven, fryer, broiler, salamander, slice, mixer, food processor, dish washer and all small wares and utensils.
• To perform this job successfully, the individual should possess math skills required to complete food preparation and ordering job functions.
• The ability to read food orders in English.
• Specialty/Technical training preferred.
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Working Conditions:

• Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping.
• The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands.
• The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Noise level is moderate to loud.
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
• Work weekends and holidays.
