Job description

Job Description:

Ideal candidates approach their job with pride, cook from their hearts, and genuinely love to take care of their guests. Previous experience with fresh seasonal ingredients and butchery is appreciated but not necessary. Uncompromising work ethic, attention to detail, and cleanliness are required.

You will work directly with our Chef and Sous Chef daily, using state-of-the-art equipment and tested recipes, to create a warm and welcoming environment. We partner with local farms and regional purveyors to offer fresh seasonal menus, take pride in giving back to our communities, and set new standards in the industry. Join us in a culinary revolution that redefines community perceptions of convenience store food offerings.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prep ingredients while managing incoming orders throughout the day.
  2. Interact with guests to showcase our passion for foodservice and hospitality.
  3. Make adjustments to food items to accommodate allergies or dietary concerns.
  4. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure proper food service temperatures.
  5. Operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, flat-top grills, or stand mixers.
  6. Prepare sauces or accompaniments before meal service.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized station, even during busy periods.
  8. Estimate food consumption and organize preparation accordingly, filling out prep lists daily.
  9. Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

CT Wage Disclosure: $17-18/hr
