Job summary

Marion Miami is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen in Miami. You will prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency, and assist with inventory and station setup.

The ideal candidate has prior line cook experience, strong knowledge of cooking techniques, and excellent time management and communication skills. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Line Cook or similar culinary role preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands, arms, and repetitive motions associated with food preparation and cooking.
• Ability to safely work around hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and cooking appliances.

Environmental Conditions

• Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, varying temperatures, and food preparation equipment.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment.
• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and hot kitchen conditions.
