We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,900 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 Bistro & Wine Bar at Testarossa Winery is open Wednesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner (12-8pm), with brunch on Sundays (10am), located on a charming historic patio surrounded by lush forest, offering a unique outdoor dining experience for guests and club members.

What the 107 Line Cook does

As a Line Cook, you’ll execute salads, entrees, appetizers, and desserts based on the design of the Executive Chef. Your daily tasks may include:

  • Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasks
  • Executing menu items at the winery, including plating salads, entrees, appetizers, desserts, and buffet items as designed by the Chef de Cuisine
  • Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
  • Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
  • ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
  • Safe knife skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude, and effective communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Availability to work 3 days per week between Thursday and Monday
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching during shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Handling sharp and hot tools regularly
  • Use of cleaning chemicals frequently
  • Driving to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the winery in Los Gatos, as needed
