Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served.
• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation for all outlets on the property.
• Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned items.
• Assist with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory.
• Understand how to properly use and maintain the equipment.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation maintenance for all prep and storage areas.
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware and utensils.
• Carry clean dishes to the line and storage areas.
• Help distribute food and supplies across outlets.
• Clean production, holding and serving equipment when needed.
• Assist with product receiving and storage.
• Full compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Edgewater Golf Club, located in Lancaster, SC is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Line Cooks will assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all food outlets on the property. Line Cooks will also perform other related tasks related to food preparation and kitchen sanitation/cleanliness as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• 1-2 years of cooking experience
• High School (or equivalent) Diploma
• Experience in managing and upholding a safe working condition
• Understanding the knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to take direction

Position Responsibilities:
