Summary

The Cook plays a vital role in restaurant operations, following recipes, policies, and procedures, while exceeding customer expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming and professional attitude with coworkers.
• Practice company food quality standards.
• Cook various foods according to recipes, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure timely and high-quality food delivery from the kitchen.
• Set up and maintain sufficient workstation supplies.
• Stock, store, and rotate inventory properly.
• Comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 17 years.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Food Handler Certificate required.
• Experience in food service is helpful but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills.
• Team-oriented and customer-focused attitude.

Physical & Working Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for at least 8 hours.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment with moderate noise.
