Job Summary

Prepares food at various kitchen stations following federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring high-quality food service. Responsibilities include:

• Taking orders from the expo station and preparing food as per the chef's instructions.
• Working efficiently and courteously, following steps of service, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing, and tasting all prepared items.
• Using approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper temperatures, and portion control.
• Carrying pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Storing foods properly with correct wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Attending in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintaining good relationships with coworkers, managers, and staff.
• Performing duties safely while maintaining a clean environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
