Description

We are seeking a dynamic cook to ensure smooth daily operations and provide a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The successful candidate will contribute to customer satisfaction and support our Luxury Lifestyle brand’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the back of house with tasks such as washing dishes, prep, cleaning, and upkeep.
• Occasionally deliver food from the kitchen to guests and bus tables.
• Transport soiled dishes to be cleaned.
• Notify servers when tables need attention.
• Greet guests and answer questions as needed.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to create a positive dining environment.
• Keep the prep area stocked with cleaned and polished glassware, dinnerware, and flatware; wash and polish dishes daily.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing the front and back areas before and after service.
• Receive deliveries and stock using FIFO method.
• Cross-train in cooking duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prepare food according to recipes and specifications from the Director of Food and Beverage and Marriott International standards.
• Batch prep sauces and other recipes daily.
• Cook using roasting, sautéing, and other methods to meet standards.
• Handle food properly and store correctly to comply with sanitation requirements.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain food storage logs.
• Stay updated on food safety, allergens, and health regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
