Nudy's Cafes in the Delaware Valley is seeking an accomplished Line Cook to prepare meals according to customer preferences. You will slice, grill, braise, and monitor stock while keeping a clean, safe workstation and coordinating with waitstaff on orders.

The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience, especially with grilling, strong organization, and the stamina to work weekends and holidays. Join a family-owned, multi-location restaurant expanding in 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a cook, preferably with grilling.
• Ability to stand for long hours.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Capacity to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Commitment to the production of high-quality outputs and excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Slicing, cutting, shredding, tenderizing, and skewering meat and vegetables.
• Braising and grilling meat and vegetables.
• Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
• Preventing cross-contamination.
• Preparing meals in accordance with customers' preferences, if applicable.
• Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner.
• Liaising with waitstaff once orders are finalized.
• Ensuring that your workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
• Informing the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
• Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.

Nudy's Cafes is a multi-location restaurant company that has been family owned & operated since opening our first location in 1979. The customer journey is one of our keys to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go-to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family friendly environment. We currently operate in 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Restaurant number 16 will open in 2026! We have positioned ourselves to expand further throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are searching for an accomplished Line Cook to create meals in accordance with customers' preferences. The Line Cook's responsibilities include preparing ingredients, informing waitstaff when orders are ready, and cleaning the grill after each shift. You should also monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times.

To be successful as a Line Cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes.
