Job summary

Snooze Left Bank in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Line Cook to support our morning-service kitchen with care, speed and craft. You’ll help prepare pancakes, eggs, and other breakfast items to Snooze standards, while maintaining sanitation and food safety practices.

The role offers earning potential of $16.50–$20.50 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, and vision plans after eligibility, plus opportunities for development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant kitchen experience.
• Fast-paced environment; high-volume setting preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly with management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, safety, and timeliness of dishes.
• Know menu items, recipes, plating guidelines and sanitation basics.
• Prepare foods using knives, mixers, blenders, scales, and bags.
• Cook with ovens, stoves, griddles and broilers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and follow Snooze guidelines.

The Position Specifics

The Snooze Line Cook ensures that each Snooze food item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. The best pancakes in all the land are in the hands of our Line Cooks. The responsibilities of this position include:

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines

Is This Role For you?

• fun, energetic, eager and a committed team member.
• experienced. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• fast paced. A minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• able to communicate clearly with management staff.
• able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
