Job summary

The Cliffs is hiring a full-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Salem, SC. You will assist with food preparation, station setup, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred, experience preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, basic tools, small wares, culinary techniques, and ingredients specialized to the location.
• Knowledge of basic food temperatures, proper food handling and judgment of quantity, quality, and production.
• Ability to follow recipes, make recipe conversions, adhere to food allergies, and propose menu items.
• Basic knife skills and butchering techniques.
• Exhibits clean work habits and ownership of a safe, clean work area.
• Able to assist completing weekly cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Willingness to maintain a neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules.

• Assist with line cook duties and food preparation as directed by Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and station.
• Assist with weekly cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
