Job summary

True Food Kitchen is seeking a skilled Line Cook for our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations like Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill. Experience across multiple stations is a plus, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

We offer AM/PM and mid-day shifts, part-time to 40 hours per person, and benefits including health care access, pet insurance, dining discounts, and volunteer time. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more.
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards.
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment

THE PERFECT PAIRING

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant (preferred)

• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Teamwork, speed, and organization under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
