As a Line Cook at Villa Restaurant Group, you will play a vital role in ingredient preparation, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and ready for service. Your attention to detail and commitment to food quality will contribute to our culinary team's success.

What You’ll Do

1. Ingredient Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients like vegetables and proteins following standardized recipes and portion sizes.
2. Quality Control: Ensure all ingredients meet high standards of taste, texture, and appearance.
3. Station Setup: Organize the prep station with necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
4. Food Safety: Follow sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and handling.
5. Timing: Work efficiently to make prepped ingredients available during service hours.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the prep area and equipment clean and sanitized.
7. Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of shortages.
8. Menu Knowledge: Familiarize with menu items, variations, and allergen info.
9. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience as a prep cook or kitchen assistant is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work from 4 pm to Midnight.
• Basic knowledge of food prep techniques and knife skills.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
