Job summary

Peachtree Group Hospitality Management is seeking a PM Line Cook to prepare food to exact chef specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The role involves assisting the executive and sous chef with daily tasks, contributing to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

The ideal candidate will set up and stock items, prepare sauces, cook through various methods, maintain cleanliness, and perform regular inventory checks to ensure proper storage and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or kitchen prep is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and chef specifications.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

• Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $22.50 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

We are looking for a professional PM Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
