Job summary

Holland Roofing is hiring for a kitchen support role in Covington, KY. You will wear a proper uniform and assist in food preparation, sanitation, and dish handling to support a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning workstations, unloading deliveries, and effective communication with supervisors and customers as needed. Applicants should meet education requirements and be able to pass a sanitation course.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary school 2–4 year degree preferred.
• Hot line experience preferred.
• Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
• Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the job including lift and carry up to 30 pounds, frequent standing, stooping, squatting, twisting, and moving, ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to pass a food service sanitation course.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow recipes.
