Job Responsibilities
- Wear proper uniform including chef coat, pants, and nonslip shoes.
- Check in and sign for food deliveries as necessary.
- Properly store all received items in their designated places.
- Label and rotate all prep items.
- Maintain organization in walk-in and dry storage areas.
- Keep the work area sanitary and clean all sinks and surfaces after use.
- Dismantle and clean slicer after use.
- Follow recipes or ask for them if needed.
- Use equipment according to instructions.
- No personal food or drinks are allowed on workstations, as per health department regulations.
- Use sanitizer buckets as directed by the health department.
- Clean the work area after each shift, sweep floors, and dispose of personal food or drinks.
- Dispose of cigarettes properly in designated receptacles during breaks.
- Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, General Manager, Pastry Chef, or Assistant General Manager.
- Change foil on equipment bi-weekly.
- After closing, sweep, mop, and scrub floors; scrub and sanitize cutting boards at shift end.
