At Jerome Village Bar & Grill, we have a passion for people and the hospitality industry. We are currently seeking part-time and full-time Line Cooks for our back of house operations. Hours of operation are 11am - 8pm, with shifts starting at 10am and ending at 9pm depending on business levels.

Pay starts at $15.00 to $17.00 an hour, depending on experience. Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, experience in food preparation, and a desire to provide a great guest experience. Must be at least 16 years old. Weekend and evening availability are required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the manager on duty about the prep list to determine daily requirements.
• Follow company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food.
• Work in a clean, efficient, and organized manner.
• Prepare menu items at correct temperatures within specified timeframes.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance.
• Assist with controlling costs and waste.
• Practice good sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
• Take ownership of kitchen equipment and maintain it properly.
• Work effectively and professionally with other restaurant departments.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and clean-up as required.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of previous line cook experience
