Line Cook, FYR Short North - Hilton Columbus Downtown (Finance)

We are currently searching for an experienced Line Cook to join our team at FYR - Short North.

Integrated within Hilton Columbus Downtown, FYR - Short North is our signature live fire restaurant.

FYR represents the metaphorical hearth of downtown Columbus with a wood-fired grill at its center. The use of fire & smoke is incorporated into most dishes to evoke the historical ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and standards, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Your tasks will include:

• Preparing food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards
• Managing guest orders efficiently and courteously
• Having knowledge of the menu and food products
• Stocking and maintaining food stations
• Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen for quality
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures
• Preparing requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
