Responsibilities as a Line Cook
  • Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes.
  • Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
  • Manage stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily.
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
  • Ensure the quality of all served products.
  • Perform cleaning tasks according to health standards.
Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in a food service environment.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
