Virtue is the flagship restaurant of Virtue Hospitality group that includes: Daisy's Po Boy, Mustard Seed Kitchen and Top This Mac and cheese. We are a fast growing company looking to invest in individuals to help us continue our community based mission. With a focus on southern american cuisine, Virtue has been celebrated as one of Chicago's top restaurants.

We arehiring experienced line and prep cooks who are looking to develop and grow their culinary skills in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay based on experience and opportunities for advancement. Benefits package including dental, vision, life insurance with employer comtributions and available after 30 days. 401k benefits available after 1 year employment.

Ideal candidates:
  • 1-2 years kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
  • Food handlers sanitation license from either servsafe or state issued
  • Strong desire to learn andability to adapt. Has strong communication skills and dedicated to personal and team success.
  • Ability to take direction and instruction while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow directions and/or a recipe
  • Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards set by the Chefs
  • Prep cooks require morning and weekend availability, Line cooks require evening and weekend availability.
