Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably luxury.

Responsibilities

• Open and organize the station and cook all food for service.
• Prepare sauces, soups, entrees and components.
• Rearrange the line for cooking and service as needed.
• Ensure orders are cooked quickly and to order; food leaves at peak condition.
• Learn menus, recipes, preparation and presentation.
• Store food properly and maintain storage temperatures.
• Prepare food for next shift and following day as directed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area per regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hiring Bonus Available:

$500 paid out in three (3) installments - $200 at 30 days of employment; $150 at 60 days of employment; and $150 at 90 days of employment. Please note: This hiring bonus is subject to all withholdings and deductions as required by law.

A day in the life…

The Line Cook will produce all orders required by business volume and supervisor, as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to produce the highest quality product. Also, to produce all orders on an a la carte basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open up preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
• Prepare all items for sauces, soups, entrees.
• Rearrange the line for cooking and service.
• Prepare all orders as turned in and ensures all orders cooked quickly and according to order; also ensures that food leaves the kitchen in peak condition.
• Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.
• Cook only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and to maintain quality.
• Prepare all food needed.
• Prepare all food for next shift and for the following day as required and directed by Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with state, county, and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
