Job summary

Nudy's Cafes in Pennsylvania is seeking an accomplished Line Cook to prepare meals in accordance with customers' preferences and to support quick, friendly service across our multi-location operation.

You will manage grilling tasks, maintain food safety, monitor inventory, and coordinate with waitstaff to ensure orders are fulfilled promptly. The role requires reliability, multitasking, and a commitment to high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cooking experience, preferably grilling.
• Commitment to food safety guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Capacity to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Slicing, cutting, shredding, tenderizing, and skewering meat and vegetables.
• Braising and grilling meat and vegetables.
• Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
• Preventing cross-contamination.
• Preparing meals in accordance with customers' preferences, if applicable.
• Tracking the components of each meal to ensure timely completion.
• Liaising with waitstaff once orders are finalized.
• Ensuring workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
• Informing the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
• Tracking inventory to ensure adequate supplies.

Nudy's Cafes is a multi‑location restaurant company that has been family owned & operated since opening our first location in 1979. The customer journey is one of our keys to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go‑to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family friendly environment. We currently operate in 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Restaurant number 16 will open in 2026! We have positioned ourselves to expand further throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are searching for an accomplished Line Cook to create meals in accordance with customers' preferences. The Line Cook responsibilities include preparing ingredients, informing waitstaff when orders are ready, and cleaning the grill after each shift. You should also monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times.

To be successful as a Line Cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes.
