Nudy's Cafes is a family‑owned, multi‑location restaurant group operating since 1979. We serve casual breakfast and lunch in a friendly setting across 15 locations in Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties, with a 16th opening in 2026.

We emphasize quick, reasonably priced, freshly prepared meals and a welcoming customer journey. We are seeking an accomplished Line Cook to prepare ingredients, notify the waitstaff when orders are ready, and maintain a clean grill area, while monitoring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cook experience, preferably grilling.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Capacity to stand for long hours.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Level-headed with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Slice, cut, shred, tenderize meat and vegetables.
• Braise and grill meats and vegetables.
• Check ingredients for freshness and safety.
• Prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare meals per customer preferences.
• Track meal components for timely completion.
• Liaise with waitstaff after orders are finalized.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Inform management when equipment needs maintenance.
• Monitor inventory to ensure adequate supplies.

Nudy's Cafes is a multi‑location restaurant company that has been family owned & operated since opening our first location in 1979. The customer journey is one of our keys to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go‑to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family friendly environment. We currently operate in 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Restaurant number 16 will open in 2026! We have positioned ourselves to expand further throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are searching for an accomplished Line Cook to create meals in accordance with customers' preferences. The Line Cook responsibilities include preparing ingredients, informing waitstaff when orders are ready, and cleaning the grill after each shift. You should also monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times.

To be successful as a Line Cook, you should be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Slicing, cutting, shredding, tenderizing, and skewering meat and vegetables.
• Braising and grilling meat and vegetables.
• Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
• Preventing cross‑contamination.
• Preparing meals in accordance with customers' preferences, if applicable.
• Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner.
• Liaising with waitstaff once orders are finalized.
• Ensuring that your workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
• Informing the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
• Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a cook, preferably with a focus on grilling.
