Portland Pie is expanding its kitchen team as a fast-paced, casual family restaurant offering dine-in and delivery. We serve gourmet pizza and local craft beer, welcoming cooks of all skill levels and offering training for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates collaborate well with teammates, maintain a strong sense of urgency, and enjoy the challenge of cooking for high-volume service. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour with benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No formal cooking experience required; willing to train.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to collaborate with kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and cooks to prepare meals during dining hours.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.

We at Portland Pie are looking to grow our core team of cooks! We are a fast-paced, yet casual, family restaurant that serves gourmet pizza and local craft beer, as well as other extended menu items. We offer dine in, and delivery/take-out for the community and the surrounding areas.

Our ideal candidate likes to collaborate with their fellow team members, has a strong sense of urgency, and enjoys the challenge that comes with cooking in a high volume environment. A positive attitude is definitely a plus!

We strive to keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed; a sense of comradery pervades the space. We're accepting of cooks of all skill levels and we're always willing to train the right candidate!
