Job description

The Grand Summit Hotel is actively searching for a creative, fast-paced, and professional Line Cook for our restaurant and banquet events.

This is a Full-Time position. Expected regular shifts will include dinner services in the restaurant on Wednesday-Saturday and a mix of shifts on various days depending on the hotel's event schedule.

The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash, located at the base of Bear Peak in Bartlett, New Hampshire, offers scenic views of Mt. Washington Valley and alpine experiences in every stay.

Job Summary:

  • Learn and stay familiar with menu items, ensuring proper food rotation and timing.
  • Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure all ingredients are in stock and prepared appropriately.
  • Assist in food preparation, presentation, and service procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen areas, and storage units.
  • Review prep lists, check daily pars, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Prepare high-quality food following recipes and standards, based on server checks.
  • Be aware of food allergies and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, mixers, and grills properly.
