About the location:

Sophisticated urban retreat on the waterfront in Baltimore’s Harbor East, offering luxurious amenities such as a five-star Spa, rooftop pool, and proximity to waterfront walks, top restaurants, and city landmarks.

BASIC PURPOSE:

Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to guest orders, maintaining quality standards and a safe, sanitary work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Prepare food items per guest orders, following recipes, production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mise en place and station setup. (40%)
  2. Start prepared food items timely, avoiding excess preparation. (20%)
  3. Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, mixers, etc. (10%)
  4. Manage food containers, rotate perishables, check pars, note shortages, and assist in food cost control. (10%)
  5. Comply with Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct. (10%)
  6. Work harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors. (10%)
  7. Perform other duties as assigned. (Remaining percentage)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma, culinary education, or equivalent experience.
  • Culinary degree and 2+ years of culinary experience, or 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Understanding of health codes, knife skills, and station setup; ability to learn new stations quickly and accept coaching.
