To produce and maintain the quality of menu items assigned to your station according to the company's menu recipes and specifications. Ensure the company's safety, sanitation, and food standards are met according to recipes, procedures, quality, and timeliness.
Job Responsibilities
- Arrive on time, dressed in proper uniform, and ready to work.
- Maintain a brisk, steady pace; stay organized; avoid unnecessary steps.
- Adhere strictly to recipes; demonstrate 100% recipe knowledge during prep and production.
- Use scales, measuring spoons, and recipe cards for portion control; perform portion tests.
- Keep the kitchen and equipment clean; practice 'clean as you go.'
- Maintain productivity by balancing quality and quantity of work within time limits.
- Organize supplies ahead of busy periods.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Handle food safely, including receiving, rotating, and stocking food supplies.
- Support prep work as needed.
