Job Description

Line Cook for Salad/Sandwich

Responsibilities:

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, and fill ticket orders
• Prepare ingredients according to the recipes
• Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating, and labeling all food items
• Follow proper knife handling procedures
• Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet our standards
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing

Qualifications

• A smiling face and great attitude
• Have reliable transportation
• Punctual attendance
• Minimum one year experience in the kitchen of a high-volume establishment
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Able to work near heated equipment
• Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Must be 18 years of age

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour plus tips (tips average an extra $1.00 per hour)
