Davey Tree Surgery Co. is hiring an experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to service Clintonville and Harrisville, PA. CDL holder and climbing experience preferred; outdoor work from Clintonville to Harrisville with daily field operations.

The role requires safety-conscious pruning/removal work for electric utilities, operating chainsaws/chippers and working with a crew led by a foreperson. On-site, full-time position with competitive hourly rates.

• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with Air Brake Endorsement

• Preferred: pesticide and related licenses/certificates as required by state law

Responsabilidades

• Climb trees using published climbing systems (DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS).
• Prune and remove trees safely for major electric utilities.
• Remove broken limbs from lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Identify trees and apply industry pruning guidelines.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground staff.

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as an experienced Line Clearance Trimmer, CDL holder and/or climbing experience preferred, joining our team working from Clintonville PA over to the Harrisville PA region.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Climb Trees! Davey offers both DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems
• Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for major electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:
• Pruning treetops and repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application of tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
• Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and foreperson
