Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and support line clearance work. You will plan and coordinate crew tasks, operate and service tools, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include using gasoline-powered equipment, hydraulic tools, saws, chippers, sprayers, and hand-tools, while maintaining safety and efficient crew operations across assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possesses working knowledge to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, mower deck, weed whacker, chipper, and sprayers.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris.
• Uses hand-tools as required.
• Sprays brush and stumps with proper herbicide application.
• Ensures safety, quality and production requirements.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Trains new personnel.
