Job summary

Jayco Inc in Indiana is seeking an inventory and production planning professional to manage material plans and master schedules for components and sub-assemblies. You will work closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Master Scheduler teams to ensure timely ordering, accurate inventory data and smooth production flow.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, knowledge of MRP II and ERP systems, and a proactive approach to optimization.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of company products, manufacturing processes and closed-loop MRP II systems.
• College education and APICS certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Purchases production material to meet production needs.
• Maintains integrity of the inventory status database.
• Establishes and maintains order policies, lot sizes, lead times, etc.
• Coordinates with Purchasing, Suppliers, Manufacturing and Master Scheduler.
• Communicates with suppliers to resolve material issues and delivery coordination.
• Reviews sales order changes and ensures availability of parts for change orders.
• Plays role in physical counts and data entry for inventory.
• Assist/Lead in planning and directing physical counts and data entry for Physical Inventory.
