Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a Line Attendant for the 2nd shift (6pm–6am) in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and ensure quality to GMP/USDA/OSHA standards. Able to lift 50 lbs and stand on concrete; rotating weekends/overtime required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on concrete for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity and repetitive motion tolerance.
• Willingness to rotate schedules including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste as directed; notify supervisor of issues.
• Report quality or equipment problems to supervisor promptly.
• Follow USDA, OSHA, GMP and safety regulations.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
