Job summary

Schwan's Company in Stilwell, KS is hiring for a full-time production teammate in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour, 1st shift, hours 6:40 am to 4:30 pm.

You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods, ensuring compliance with company and government quality standards. You must meet basic requirements (high school diploma or GED preferred, 0–1 years experience) and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand on concrete

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience minimum.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity for repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and note waste as directed; take action to fix or discard as needed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems, and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, state, and federal regulations and GMPs.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
