Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Fryer Operator at the GF Plant in Grand Forks. This role involves operating Line 1 or Line 4 blanchers, fryers, and related systems, with primary responsibility for product quality related to solids, color, and texture.

You will monitor Wonderware data, perform Agtron color measurements, and conduct SAPP/Sugar/FFA tests to meet specifications, while maintaining safe oil systems and completing required training.

Qualifications

• Cross-trained on Line 1, Line 4, and Batter Operator duties.
• Must read, understand, and communicate in English to perform duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate Fryer, Blancher, and Dryer areas ensuring product quality (solids, color, texture).
• Monitor process data in Wonderware; complete required paperwork and data entry.
• Conduct Agtron color measurements and SAPP/Sugar/FFA tests to maintain target values.
• Maintain safe oil system operation and monitor filtration and additive flow.
• Perform fry-ups and ensure equipment readiness; cross-train on multiple lines.
