Job summary

Simplot Grand Forks is seeking a Line Fry Operator (Crew A) to operate line 1 or 4 blanchers, dryer, fryer and related systems. The role focuses on product quality, color, and texture while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

You will monitor additives, conduct Agtron color measurements, log temperatures, and ensure proper oil usage to meet specifications. Training and cross-training are emphasized for Line 1, Line 4, and Batter duties.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Job Skill Evaluation and Structured Job Training.
• Must read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must handle hazardous and corrosive chemicals safely.
• Must be able to use a computer and data-entry proficiently.
• Must stand long hours and work in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Line 1 or 4 blanchers, dryer, fryer and related systems.
• Monitor oil filtration and SAPP, Sugar and FFA tests.
• Record process data and enter information into computer systems.
• Maintain and monitor temperatures and color using Agtron measurements.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in all training activities.
