Rubio’s Coastal Grill is seeking a Line 3/4 Cook to prepare grilled and heated items to Rubio’s quality standards. You’ll participate in keeping the BOH running smoothly, read tickets, and maintain food safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires restaurant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to read English or Spanish. Expect reliable hours, teamwork, and adherence to Rubio’s dress code and safety policies.

Competenze

• Education: High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Restaurant experience required; previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Language: Must read and write in English or Spanish.
• Math: Ability to count and perform simple calculations.
• Other: Reliable transportation to arrive to work on time.

Mansioni

• Prepare and hold grilled, fried and heated products; ensure proper dating, storage and rotation.
• Manage portion control and restock grill and fryer area.
• Read tickets and determine the proper amount of food to prepare; meet service time standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene per Rubio’s Dress Code.
• Follow safety and health code policies and procedures; wear hairnets and gloves as required.
• Communicate effectively with the BOH team to ensure smooth operations.
