An established industry player is seeking a Field Application Scientist to provide technical expertise in laboratory operations. The Field Application Scientist is responsible for providing in-depth technical expertise to laboratory partners (R&D and operations), primarily focusing on complex application and utilization of LIMS’ advanced features.
Required Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in a LIMS Field Application Specialist role, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics environments.
Preferred Work Experience: Proactive mindset with a passion for improving user experience. Knack for translating complex clinical workflows into user-friendly software solutions. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements: In-depth knowledge of using and building LIMS systems for sequencing-based laboratory workflows. Knowledge of L7 ESP is preferred. Individual must have a high level of scientific knowledge as well as a high level of understanding of the regulated operational environment in which the LIMS functions.
